QUICK SALLY LUNN BREAD 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Cream the shortening and sugar in a bowl. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Sift the flour with baking powder and salt, and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Place in a greased 9 x 12-inch baking pan.

Bake at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes. (Check at 20 minutes.) Cut into squares and serve hot. Serves 6.
