KAPUSTA AND KIDNEY BEAN SOUP
FROM CROATIA
 
6 c. beef broth
1/4 of a med. red onion, chopped
1 c. sm. drop dumplings
1/4 c. cooked celery
1/2 c. cooked carrots
1 (14 oz.) can red kidney beans
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut, well drained
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine soup ingredients into a large kettle. Simmer soup over low heat for 1 hour.
