COATED WALNUTS 
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. water

Boil ingredients together to 242 degrees ( firm ball stage) stirring often. Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 3 cups large walnut pieces, (can also mix in pecans and other nuts). Stir until creamy. Put on wax paper, separate by using 2 forks. Nuts will be coated with a white fudge. Delicious.
