GERMAN TORTE CREAM | |
1/4 lb. butter 1/2 - 3/4 c. sugar 1 1/4 c. flour 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. vanilla (add to milk) 2 whole eggs Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating after each. Add flour/dry ingredients and milk, alternating. Beat well. Put in greased and floured torte pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. After cool, turn upside down and remove from pan. Fill torte with fresh fruit and/or berries etc. Serve plain or top fruit with ice cream or whipped cream or topping. |
