1 cup peanut butter
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Cream together peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add baking powder and flour. Beat with an electric mixer at high speed until all is well mixed. Roll into small balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork to make a crisscross pattern on each cookie.

Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.
