APPLESAUCE BREAD 
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 c. fruit-only apple butter
1/4 c. dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg
1 egg white
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Butter a loaf pan or spray inside surfaces with vegetable oil spray. In a mixing bowl, combine applesauce, apple butter, brown sugar, butter, egg, and egg white; beat until smooth. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir dry ingredients into liquids and scrape into prepared pan.

Bake in the center of a preheated 350 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes or until brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan. Allow to cool at least 15 minutes before slicing. Makes 1 loaf or 12 slices.
