EARTHQUAKE CAKE 
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar

Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam. Put 1 cup of chopped nuts and 1 cup coconut in bottom of pan. Mix chocolate cake mix as directed and spread over nuts and coconut. Cream the cream cheese, butter and confectioners sugar. Pour over cake, being careful not to touch sides of pan. I use a spatula to swirl mixture through cake mix a bit.

Bake for about 50 minutes in oven heated to 350°F. Let set for 30 minutes and turn out.

This is a very rich cake, so small servings are in order.
