CHOCOLATE KRINGLE COOKIES 
1/2 c. oil
4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt chocolate and oil together in top of a double boiler. Stir sugar into melted chocolate mixture and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Beat until sugar is no longer grainy. Beat in eggs (one at a time). Add vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Fold into other mixture and chill dough. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in confectioners' sugar. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Cookies will be soft when warm but firm as they cool.
