REFRIGERATOR COLESLAW 
2 med. heads cabbage
4 stalks celery
4 carrots
1 onion
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 - 2 tsp. celery seed

Chop in blender, or shred and cut finely: cabbage, celery, carrots, and onion. Mix together and generously sprinkle with salt. Set aside while making dressing. Combine in saucepan: sugar, salt, vinegar, pepper and celery seed. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. When cool, add to cabbage. Mix well. Can be made in large amounts and stored in the refrigerator for several months. Store in tightly covered containers.
