GOLDEN BUNDT CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
5 eggs
3 c. unsifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
5 oz. can evaporated milk plus water to make 1 c.
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat eggs, 1 at a time; beat well after each addition. Mix flour and salt. Alternately add flour and milk ending with flour. Fold in flavorings. Start in cold oven.

Bake in greased tube pan at 325°F for 1 hour and 45 minutes until done. Do not open door. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.

Yield: 10 to 12 slices.
