1 1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. fresh cracker crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 oz. canned mushrooms
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato juice

Combine all ingredients (withhold 2 ounces tomato juice) and blend well. Place in small loaf tin. Smooth top and pour remaining tomato juice over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
