FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 homemade pie crust, either 8 or 9 inch, baked
1 pt. fresh whipped cream

Arrange 1/2 berries (whole) in cooled baked pie crust. Mash the other 1/2 berries and add sugar and cornstarch. Bring mixture to boil, boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cool mixture. Pour over whole strawberries. Chill 1/2 day. Top with fresh whipped cream (including vanilla and sugar).
