TOMATO-PEAR CHUTNEY 
1 lb. tomatoes, peeled
1 lb. firm pears, peeled and chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 sm. jar or can of pimientos, chopped

Mix all ingredients except pimientos. Simmer about 1 hour, stirring frequently. Add pimientos; pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal. Makes about 3 half-pints.
