4 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
8 med. size eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
2 (12 oz.) pkgs. chocolate chips
4 c. Crisco shortening
8-9 c. flour

Mix together the sugar, baking soda, and salt. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix. Add the chocolate chips and shortening and mix. Add the flour and mix. Put dough in about 1 inch diameter balls on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until brown, about 8-10 minutes.
