1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in order given (mix baking soda and buttermilk together). Bake in three layers at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
