QUICK CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
2 oz. (1 c.) uncooked egg noodles 2 tbsp. chopped onions 1 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey 1/2 c. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed (from 16 oz. pkg.) 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves 2 (5 oz.) jars sliced mushrooms, drained 7 1/2 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/3 c. seasoned croutons 1 oz. (1/4 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles as directed. In ungreased 1 quart casserole, combine all ingredients except croutons and cheese; blend well. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with croutons and cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts. |
