SWEET & SOUR SHRIMP 
1 lb. frozen uncooked shrimp
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 can (13 3/4 oz.) pineapple chunks, undrained
1 green pepper, cut into 1/4 inch strips
1 med. onion, sliced thin

Rinse, drain and pat shrimp dry. Mix together sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and ginger in a 2 quart casserole. Add shrimp, pineapple, green pepper and onion. Cover with a tight fitting lid or plastic wrap.

Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 12 to 14 minutes or until shrimp is opaque. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving. Total cooking time: 12 to 14 minutes. Recipe yield: 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
