SAUERKRAUT 
1 lg. can or package of kraut
2 med. or 1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. of Polish or Italian sausage
Sliced potatoes
Pepper to taste

Rinse kraut in cold water and squeeze out liquid. In crock pot layer sliced sausage, onions, potatoes, and kraut. Sprinkle with pepper. Do not add salt. Do not add water. Continue to layer until all ingredients are used. Cook all day. Best if prepared the night before and simmered until suppertime.
