QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 microwaved 9 in. pastry shell
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 c. chopped green onion
3 eggs
1 c. half & half
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Sprinkle cheese and onion on pastry shell. Set aside. Beat eggs, half & half, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Microwave on medium setting for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken, stirring after the first two minutes and then after each minute. Pour egg mixture into crust; sprinkle with bacon. Microwave on medium for 8 to 15 minutes or until set, turning every 4 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
