Today in school we made Bird's Nests for snack. We also made "nests" with the couch cushions!

You can make bird's nests out of the regular Rice Krispies-marshmallow recipe but today we used this:

3 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 c. shredded coconut

1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Remove from heat. Stir in cereal and coconut. Let cool and shape into bird's nests by pressing into cupcake tins. Fill with jelly bean "eggs." You can leave out coconut and line nests with soft coconut instead!
