1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. nutmeats

Make about 24 small balls and then dip in beaten egg white. Make a depression and put a candied cherry half. Bake 5 minutes at 375 degrees.
