JELLO SALAD | |
1 pkg. lime jello 1 (16 oz.) bag sm. marshmallows (about 12 oz.) 1 lg. crushed pineapple 1 sm. pkg. cottage cheese (sm. curd) 1 c. nuts 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip Drain pineapple; reserve juice. Mix 1 cup boiling water with jello. Add enough water to pineapple juice to make second cup. Add to jello mixture. Bring to a boil but do not boil. Pour over marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows melt; cool. Mix in pineapple, cottage cheese and nuts. Just before it jells, fold in Cool Whip. This makes a large amount. Also good with strawberry jello and strawberries. |
