1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
2 c. coconut

Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add oatmeal and coconuts. Mix well. Roll in sugar and put on baking pan. Drop by teaspoonfuls on pan.
