JAPANESE FRUIT CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
5 eggs
1 c. milk
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 lb. cherries
1 box golden raisins
2 c. pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together sugar and butter. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 4 layer 9-inch lined pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

ICING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. coconut
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter

Boil icing ingredients a short while.
