1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt. Make 3 depressions, pour oil into one, vanilla into another and vinegar into the last. Pour cold water over all and mix. Batter will be very thin. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Cut in pan. Do not turn out.
