MOCK PEPPER STEAK | |
1 lb. ground chuck or round 1 med. onion (chopped) 2 stalks of celery (chopped) 1 med. green pepper, chopped 1 can of stewed tomatoes 1 can of mushroom soup (if desired) Salt and pepper to taste Make 6 patties from meat. Brown over low heat (I don't use any oil, but can use Pam.) Add tomatoes, onion, pepper, and celery. When it starts to simmer, add mushroom gravy dissolved in a cup of water. Cook on low heat until vegetables are tender. I use a 10 inch skillet covered. |
