CHEERIO CANDY 
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. dark corn syrup (King)
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat in pan to combine and dissolve sugar. Cook 5 minutes; stir till cooled. Pour over 6 cups Cheerios and 2/3 cup nuts. Stir until all pieces are coated. Pour into cookie pan. Bake 20 minutes at 250°F. When cooled, break apart. (Brush with butter before baking).
