TURKEY STUFFING CAKES 
16 slices bread, cubed
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 c. onion, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1/3 to 1/2 c. turkey or chicken stock

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix bread and seasonings. Saute onion and celery in butter. Add to bread, mixing well. Moisten with stock. Form into cakes. Put on greased sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned. This makes about 9 cakes. Serves 6 to 9 people.

Hint: This recipe can be doubled. Extra cakes can be frozen on trays in freezer. When frozen, cakes can be wrapped individually or in desired number. Defrost cakes before baking. Fresh stuffing every time!
