BREAD STUFFING 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. minced onion
8 c. dried cornbread crumbs
6 c. dried bread crumbs
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. dried sage (more may be added if desired)

Saute onions in butter in skillet. Stir sage, salt and pepper into butter and onions. Pour onion mixture over dry bread. Add enough broth from chicken or turkey and water to make a very moist mixture. Stuff cavity of bird and place remaining stuffing on breast of bird. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven according to directions for bird plus 1 hour.

I prefer to cook in a cooking bag and uncovered. It makes a very juicy bird.
