LEMON SQUARES 
BASE:

2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter

Mix together ingredients for base, blending lightly with a pastry blender until well blended, and base has pea-sized chunks in it. Pat into 9 x 13 inch cake pan, being sure to press sides up along inside of pan forming approximately a 1/2 inch rim around pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

FILLING:

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice

Stir filling over low heat in small pan for 3 minutes. Pour over crust and bake 25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Let cool. Cut into squares and serve.
