KATIE'S HOMEMADE CHICKEN AND
NOODLES
 
This recipe is very simple but very good. Try over rice or my favorite mashed potatoes.

1 3 to 5 lb.) whole chicken
water (enough to cover)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Dutch egg noodles
4 chicken bouillon cubes
salt and pepper, to taste

First you boil water, once it starts boiling add the whole chicken. Let cook 30 to 40 minutes.

Remove chicken from water, set aside.

Add noodles to the already hot water that chicken was cooked in. Add the 4 chicken broth cubes and cook noodles to desired tenderness.

While noodles are cooking pull the chicken apart into shreds then add to the noodles. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook an additional 15 to 20 minutes and serve.
