CARAMEL APPLES 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
4 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6-8 med, apples & sticks

Boil sugar, corn syrup, butter and milk to a soft boil, 234 to 238 degrees. Remove from heat; add vanilla; mix well. Dip apples with sticks in caramel mixture. Place on wax paper. Optional: Apples may be dipped in chopped nuts, while caramel is still warm.
