Washed and dried Fuji apples 1 bar chopped semi-sweet Ghirardelli baking chocolate 1 bag unwrapped caramels 1 bag toasted chopped almonds Melt baking chocolate on low in microwave, stirring constantly. Dip each apple in melted chocolate and cool completely on wax paper. Melt caramels on low in microwave, stirring constantly. You may have to add a little corn syrup to be able to stir the melted caramels. Dip each cool chocolate apple in the caramel, then sprinkle with chopped almonds. Serve when cool. |
