APPLE AND PLUM BUTTER | |
4 1/2 lbs. apples 2 c. water 3 lbs. plums 6 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Wash and cut apples and plums, including peels and cores. Add water and cook until fruit is tender. Press through sieve. Add sugar and cinnamon. Cook until thick and clear. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Fill sterilized jars. Seal. Makes 6 glasses. |
