SAUERKRAUT SOUP | |
1 pork chop 3 slices bacon 1 onion 1 can sliverfloss sauerkraut (24 oz.) 2 cloves garlic 2 cans dark kidney beans (15 oz.) 5 potatoes, mashed Brown pork chops and garlic, add bacon when done, add onions. Add sauerkraut and 1 can of water to above. Simmer 3 hours. Cook 5 potatoes and mash. Add kidney beans and mash into potatoes, add to sauerkraut and stir. If thin, thicken with flour and water. |
