CHEESE SPAGHETTI | |
1 1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese, grated 1 lg. finely chopped onion 1 grated green pepper 1/3 c. butter Dash pepper 4 sm. cans tomato sauce 1 tbsp. sugar 1 to 2 c. milk 1 lb. spaghetti or Buitoni #2 Saute onion and green pepper in butter until lightly browned, add tomato sauce, pepper and sugar. Let simmer while you grate the cheese, about 10 to 15 minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add milk a little at a time and stir until heated through. While that is heating, boil 1 lb. spaghetti or Buitoni until half done, about 4 minutes. Drain, mix into sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or slightly longer. Tastes great the next day or also as a side dish. |
