MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 c. milk
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 can cream style corn
1 c. grated cheese

Mix all ingredients together in order except cheese. Pour half of batter in greased baking dish; and half of cheese. Add remaining batter; cover with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
