CHESS BARS 
1 pkg. cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 box powdered sugar

Melt butter; stir in dry cake mix and egg; mix well. Pat mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Mis cream cheese, eggs and powdered sugar; pour over first layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let cool. Cut in to 24 bars.

For Variations: Yellow, lemon or chocolate cake mix can be used. Also, 1 cup of flaked coconut can be added to the cream cheese mixture.
