LEBANESE RICE PILAF 
1/4 lb. very thin spaghetti, broken into 1/2" pieces
3 tbsp. olive oil
2 c. long grain rice
4 c. cold water
Salt to taste

In small frying pan; saute the spaghetti pieces in the olive oil until they are nice and brown; stir constantly, they burn quickly. Wash and drain rice, and place it in small pan with tight fitting lid. Add water, noodles and oil and salt. Bring to boil, reduce, cook for 20 minutes. Serve this way or add any seasonings you'd like. Sounds like Rice-a-Roni?
