1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
3 tbsp. flour, heaping
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Mix sugar, Crisco and vanilla; set aside. In saucepan, pour 1/2 cup milk. Pour the other 1/2 cup milk in shaker with flour. Shake well. Pour flour mix in pan with other milk. Cook over medium heat, stir constantly until thick. Remove; cool completely. Mix with sugar, Crisco and vanilla mixture.
