MY FAVORITE WAFFLES 
3 1/2 c. self rising flour
4 egg yolks, beaten
3 1/2 c. milk
1 c. melted Crisco
4 stiffly beaten egg whites

Preheat waffle iron when you begin mixing. In a mixing bowl, sift the flour. Combine egg yolks, milk, and melted Crisco; add flour, beating just until blended. Carefully fold in beaten egg whites, leaving a few puffs of egg white - do not over mix. Bake in preheated waffle baker. Makes 6-7 nine inch waffles.

HINT: Do not use oil, only use solid Crisco.
