BUTTERMILK CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. vanilla
2/3 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten

Mix all ingredients with spoon; pour into oiled long cake pan and bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 c. sugar

Boil 3 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla and pour over cake while still hot.
