ORANGE CAKE 
1 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat sugar and eggs together. Add butter (soft). Add flour, 1 cup at a time. Adding 1 cup of milk when needed to mix well. Add butter and vanilla. Mix well, bake in thin layers until lightly brown. Don't bake too long or the layers will get too hard. Bake at 350 degrees.

ICING:

3 orange, grated ring and pulp
1 c. sweet milk
2 c. sugar

Mix together. Cook over medium heat until sticky, then add oranges. You may need to double icing. Poke holes in the cake and pour icing over layers.
