WHOLE WHEAT BUNS 
3 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. water
4 c. milk
1 c. water
3 eggs
1 c. honey or sugar
1 c. oil
4 tsp. salt
8 c. whole wheat flour
8 c. white flour
1 c. raisins (opt.)

Mix yeast in 1/2 cup water. Scald milk and water; cool. Add eggs, honey, oil and salt. Soak yeast in water until puffy, then add to milk mixture. Stir in flour; knead and let rise 3 times. Shape into buns; let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
