SHORT BREAD 
1 lb. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour one cup at a time. Then vanilla. Spread in a Teflon pan 15 1/4 x 10 1/4 x 3/4 inch. Score into 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch squares. Make an X on each square. Sprinkle with colored sugar for Holiday decoration.

Bake 30 minutes. Turn off and let stand for 15 minutes. Then remove from oven. Let cool then finish cutting.
