2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 c. diced apples

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and the rest of ingredients. Bake in an 8 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
