HO - HO CAKE | |
Bake chocolate cake mix in 18 x 14 inch pan 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool before topping. TOPPING: 5 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 c. milk Cook and stir continuously until thick. Let cool. Blend together 1 cup sugar, 1 stick of butter and 1 cup Crisco. Combine with milk mixture. Beat until fluffy. Spread over cake. Refrigerate until set. CHOCOLATE TOPPING: 1 stick butter 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 3 sqs. chocolate, melted 2 tsp. hot water Cook above for 1 minute. Add to 3 cups powdered sugar. Beat and then spread on cake. |
