SHAKE `N BAKE MIX | |
1 c. yellow corn meal 1 c. corn flake crumbs 1/3 c. instant minced onion 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. instant minced garlic 1 tbsp. oregano 1 tbsp. basil 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. oil Combine all dry ingredients and stir to mix evenly. Stir in oil and mix until all of the dry ingredients are moistened. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place. (To be sure, refrigerate.) To use: Moisten the meat or poultry to be used and distribute crumb mixture evenly over each piece. Proceed with recipe as you would for the commercial Shake `N Bake product. Makes about 2 1/2 cups. |
