APPLE SPICE CUSTARD CAKE 
1 spice cake mix (18 1/4 oz.)
2 med. apples, pared, cored and finely chopped (2 c.)
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. sour cream at room temperature
1/4 c. lemon juice
Ground cinnamon for garnish

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir in apples. Pour batter into a well-greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Meanwhile, combine sweetened condensed milk, sour cream and lemon juice. Remove cake from oven and spread cream mixture over top. Return cake to oven and bake for 10 minutes or more, until topping is set like custard. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cool completely. Keep refrigerated.
