OYSTER AND WILD RICE CASSEROLE 
1-2 qts. oysters
3-4 c. cooked wild rice
3-4 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2-3 tbsp. butter
1-2 c. chicken broth or cream of mushroom soup
Mushrooms
1/2 - 3/4 c. white wine (optional)

SEASONINGS:

1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. lemon or regular pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Pinch of sugar
Paprika

Cook wild rice per directions and set aside. Season oysters and onions; saute them lightly in butter until the edges curl. Mix all the ingredients into a casserole dish. Top with small pats of the remaining butter and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Cook in a preheated oven at a moderate temperature of 325 to 350 degrees until done (usually 15 to 20 minutes). For microwave use cooking chart times and temperatures for average casserole. Serving Suggestion: Serve with a light salad, 1 vegetable and bread.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
